Ingredients:


Mutton – 500 gms
Potatoes – 250 gms
Onions – 3 large
Ginger garlic Paste – 1 tblsp
Red Chilli Powder – 1 tsp
Turmeric Powder – 1/2 tsp
Garam Masala Powder – 1/2 tsp
Coriander Powder – 1 1/2 tsp
Oil – 5 tsp
Cloves – 4
Salt as per taste

Method:

1. Cut the mutton and potatoes into bite-sized chunks.
2. Finely chop the onions.
3. Heat 2 to 3 tsp oil in a pan.
4. Saute the onions until well brown.
5. Remove and keep aside.
6. Heat oil in a pressure cooker over medium flame.
7. Add the cloves and saute for 20 to 30 seconds.
8. Add the mutton pieces and cook for a minute.
9. Add the ginger garlic paste and stir well.
10. After 2 minutes, add the turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder.
11. Pour 4 cups of water.
12. Cover the cooker and pressure cook for until the lamb is tender.
13. Add the potatoes, brown onions.
14. Stir well and pour some more water.
15. Cook for another 10 minutes or until the potatoes are soft and cooked.
16. Add garam masala powder and stir.
17. Garnish with coriander leaves.
18. Remove from flame.
19. Serve with rice.

  1. I am in love with this recipe. This potatoes and meat curry is so delicious if you take it with chapatti or with the rice. It taste simply brilliant. I often make it for the dinner.
