Ingredients:

    Milk- 1 litre
    Elaichi powder- 1/2 tbspn
    Saffron strands- 2-3
    Bread- 4 pieces
    Ghee- 3 tbspn
    Sugar- 5 tbspn
Dryfruits- almonds, cashew nuts, raisins, pistachios

Method:

Heat the milk and add elaichi powder and saffron strands to the milk.

Bring the milk to boil, reduce the heat and continue cooking at simmering point, letting it to reduce down to almost half of its quantity and to become semi- solid. (Keep stirring so that milk does not stick to the base of the pan.)

Now add  sugar to this semi- solid milk. Add almonds, cashew nuts and raisins also.

Let the mixture cool down and then refrigirate it.

Now take the bread pieces and cut off the outer brown sides of the bread pieces. And then cut the square pieces into 2 equal halves each. Cut them diagonally.

In a non stick pan, slightly fry these bread pieces using ghee. Fry them for 3-4 minutes untill they become light brown and crispy.

Put these bread pieces in a plate and them pour the cool semi solid milk on it. The bread should be a bit soaked in this milk.

Garnish it with almonds and pistachios and serve.
