Rice   ½ kg
Chicken boneless 1/2  kg
Onion 1 kg
Raisins  ½ cup
Cumin seeds  1 tsp
Carrot (grated) 1
Black pepper (crushed) 1 tsp
Garlic (chopped) 2-3
Yogurt 1 cup
Cardamom   ½ tsp
Cinnamon  2 sticks
Sugar   1 tbsp
Oil   2-3 tbsp
Salt  to taste  

 
METHOD :

Clean ½ kg rice and soak it for 1 hour.

Take 2-3 tbsp oil in the pan and heat it sauté 2 cinnamon sticks and 3-4 cloves.

Add in 1 onion, garlic and boneless chicken.

Cook it well. Then add in 1 cup yogurt, 1 tsp crushed black pepper, ½ tsp cardamom, and salt and 1 tsp cumin seeds.

When the mixture starts drying add in 1 glass of water and leave it to cook.

When the chicken is cooked add in rice and dum for 20 minutes.

In a separate pan add in 1 grated carrot, ½ cup raisins, 1 tbsp sugar and water. cook it for 3-5 minutes.

Add this mixture in the pulao and serve it hot.
