1 chicken ( chopped into 8 pieces)
1 bunch Pudina leaves
1 medium onion chopped
1 cup curd
2 tbsp garlic ginger paste
4 number green chilli
3 Cloves
1 inch Cinnamon Stick
2 big Elachi
1 1/2tsp Pepper powder
2tsp Coriander powder
1/2 tsp garam masala powder
4 tbsp oil
1 tsp turmeric powder
salt to taste
Directions:
1. Marinate the Chicken with 1tbsp Ginger-garlic paste, curd, tumeric powder, Pepper powder, coriander and salt. Keep this mixture for atleast 1 hour in refrigerator.
2. In some oil slighlty saute the green chillies and Pudina leaves in 1tsp oil and grind it to a fine paste. Keep the mixture aside.
3. Heat the remaining oil in kadai and add shahi jeera, cloves, cinnamon stick, elaichi and let them sizzle.
4. Then add the chopped onion and fry till golden brown and add the ground paste we have made, and saute it for a while till oil leaves the side of pan.
5. Then add the marinated chicken stir it for 2 mins. Add some water and simmer for 10 mins.
6. Garnish with fresh pudina leaves.
7. Serve hot with rice.
