Ingredients:
1- 2 Liters milk
2- 250 gms sooji
3- 2 Cups sugar
4- 1/2 tsp Cardamom powder
5- 1/2 Cup cashew nuts
6- Soaked saffron strands
7- rose water(1 tbsp)
8- melon seeds and poppy seeds for garnishing
9- Grated coconut 1/2 cup
Method..:
1 Put milk in a thick bottomed pan and add sugar to it.
2 Wash sooji and soak in water.
3 Add sooji slowly to the milk,make sure the lumps are not formed.
4 Add grated coconut and chopped cashew nuts.
5 Cook it till it turns thick.
6 Check the consistency of firni on a porcelain plate.
7 Stir it for a while.
8 Add rose water to the firni paste.
9 Place it in a plate or bowl and garnish with poppy seeds and melon seeds and keep it in refrigerator.
10. Serve it chilled.
