Ingredients:

Milk - 1 litre
Apples - 4, medium sized and peeled
Cardamom powder - 1/4 tsp
Almonds - 4, sliced

Pistas - 5
Sugar - 4 tbsp

Method:

1. Boil the milk in a heavy based pan.
Add the sugar and cook gently until the mixture is reduced by half.
2. Grate the apples and add to the milk. After the concoction is boiled, remove from the heat at once.
3. Sprinkle cardamom, pistas and almonds on top. Serve hot or cold.
