Ingredients:

Water - 3 cups
Tomatoes - 3, ripe, finely chopped
Onion - 1, finely chopped
Garlic - 1 clove, minced
Cumin Powder - a pinch
Black Pepper Powder - a pinch
Red Chilli Powder - a pinch
Salt - 1/2 tsp or as per taste

Lemon Juice - 1 tsp
Yogurt - 1/2 cup
Coriander Leaves - 1 tblsp, chopped

Method:

1. Bring the water to a boil in a pan.
2. Add the tomatoes, onion, garlic, cumin, black pepper, chilli powder, salt and lemon juice.
3. Simmer for 10 to 15 minutes.
4. Switch off the heat and keep it aside for 5 minutes.
5. Blend the mixture to a fine puree and pour into a pan.
6. Bring to a boil, reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for 5 minutes.
7. Garnish with a spoonful of yogurt and coriander leaves.
8. Serve hot.
